Conversations Impacting
the Future of Michigan Public Policy
What is the 250 Summit?
The 250 Summit is a day for people who believe in liberty, opportunity, and free enterprise—bringing together those who want to hear from experts, engage directly, and build relationships that shape public policy.
At the Summit, state and national leaders come together to discuss the foundations of the American system and the path ahead.
Who attends?
The 250 Summit brings together a focused group of leaders from business, academia, and public policy who share an interest in the principles of liberty, opportunity, and free enterprise. Attendees include executives, entrepreneurs, policymakers, educators, and nonprofit leaders—individuals responsible for decisions within their organizations and communities.
The Summit is intentionally limited in size to encourage direct conversation, making it a room where participants engage one another, test ideas, and build relationships that extend beyond the day itself.
How is it organized?
The 250 Summit is guided by a Steering Committee of organizations that share a clear belief in liberty, opportunity, and free enterprise and work together to shape its direction.
The committee meets, debates, and decides. It sets the agenda, selects speakers, and presses each session toward substance. The program reflects shared judgment, tested ideas, and a willingness to engage across differences.
The room brings together people who challenge one another while staying grounded in a common understanding of the principles that have shaped the American system.
